Description

Throw yourself into an action-packed Moroccan journey, travelling from the markets of Marrakech into the High Atlas. Bike through Berber villages and trek high into the mountains to stay at a friendly gite with views across to Mount Toubkal, Morocco’s highest peak. Hike across the 2,297m Tizi n’Tamaret Pass before driving over the country’s highest road to arrive at the edge of the Sahara desert. Here you’ll make your way along the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs’, passing picturesque fortified towns that have stood virtually unchanged for centuries. Walk through narrow gulleys accompanied by nomad guides to reach a remote hillside camp for a memorable night under the North African sky, before staying in a comfortable hotel with pool in the Todra Gorge then return to Marrakech, tired but elated.
