Description
Head into the great white north on this superb Arctic cruise. Join the M/S Expedition in the Norwegian island of Spitsbergenin the remote Svalbard archipelago. Here you'll witness glaciers crashing into the icy waters, ice-covered fjords and varied wildlife like polar bears, reindeer and walrus. Sail west to the Greenland coast, looking out for whales and listening to informative nature presentations on the way. As you reach the coastline join wildlife watching trips by speedboat and step on shore to visit Inuit communities and seek out the local nature on tundra walks. Cruise slowly south to the fjords of Scoresbysund then cross the Denmark Strait to arrive in Iceland's capital Reykjavik.
