You’ll also cycle through quiet lanes, passing friendly villages and verdant rice paddies and stay in the hills far off the tourist trail. Swim in cool rivers, stay by Lake Batur and hike to the summit of Mount Batur for a spectacular island sunrise. Head to the coast and take a boat ride to MenjanganIsland for a day of snorkelling over pristine coral reef. Spend two nights in the lively beach resort of Lovina, soak in hot springs, visit colourful local markets, discover hidden waterfalls and see how the famous Balinese coffee is made. Return for a final night in Ubud, stopping at scenic LakeBratan on the way.
