Description
This 'Connoisseur's Choice' adventure holiday in Borneo includes a little of everything, from jungle trails, to riverboat rides and from a range of unique wildlife experiences to a challenging mountain trek. Start by visiting the rainforest of MuluNational Park, hiking jungle trails and taking longboats down winding rivers to riverside lodges. Enter some of the world’s largest caves and trek the fabled ‘Headhunters’ Trail’, following in the footsteps of the area’s original tribal residents. You will overnight in a traditional Iban village longhouse and in jungle refuges, before taking an internal flight to Sepilok to see its famous orangutans. A highlight for many will be the trek to the summit of MountKinabalu, highest point in Malaysia, where the views stretch from the ocean to Borneo’s densely forested interior.
