Description
With an experienced mountain leader and comfortable hotel and gite accommodation, this 'Connoisseur's Choice' trekking holiday includes only the best daily stages of the classic Tour du Mont Blanc circuit, linked by short vehicle transfers. Six days of walking will enable you to see the highlights of this famous long-distance walk, including all of the best mountain views. Trekking from Argentiere in the French Alps and crossing into Italy and then Switzerland, the full vehicle support means you will be carrying just a small day pack, whilst your overnight accommodation is in characterful hotels and gites. Highlights of the trip include the picturesque town of Champex and the day hike to Lac Blanc, with its panoramic views across the Mont Blanc range. Mighty Mont Blanc will often be in your sights, and you’ll also make some major pass crossings, including the lofty 2760m Fenetre d’Arpette.
