Description

Botswana and Zambia are certainly up there with the very best when it comes to natural beauty, wildlife and culture. You’ll be picked up in Johannesburg to cross the border into Botswana and stay by the vast Makgadikgadi Pans, an area well known for its elephants. From there, you’ll head down to cross the Zambezi River into Zambia and stay in Livingstone for two nights, where you can venture over to the mighty Victoria Falls. Then it’s back into Botswana to visit Chobe National Park, another area with a huge concentration of elephants and other big game. A definite highlight of the trip will be entering the Okavango Delta by traditional dugout mokoro canoe, for bush camping, wildlife walks and canoe trips in this beautiful wetland region. There’s also a trip to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary for more wildlife encounters before returning to Johannesburg to end the trip.
