Description
Travel to south west Africa and the unspoilt nation of Namibia, a land of wildlife-rich safari parks and vast dune seas. This is truly a land of adventure, and from the compact capital Windhoek you’ll venture into Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife-viewing areas. With included game drives you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting the big cats, elephant, rhino, giraffe and antelope that congregate at its salt pans and watering holes. Moving southwards through stony desert you’ll arrive in Swakopmund, Namibia’s activity capital and with a uniquely German atmosphere. Strike out to the huge sand dunes of Sossusvlei and the FishRiverCanyon, Africa’s greatest gorge, then conclude the tour by crossing over into South Africa. Stay in picturesque Lambert’s Bay and cosmopolitan Cape Town, surely one of the world’s most spectacularly sited cities. Here you can relax at the end of an action-packed tour, and indulge in the region’s excellent food and Cape wines.
