Description
This four-day independent tour of Cappadocia takes you to a region of remarkable landscapes, where soft volcanic rock has been wind-sculpted over the years to create bizarre ‘fairy chimneys’ and beautiful, rippled hillsides. Staying in a family-run hotel in the lively little town of Goreme you’ll be well placed to tour the area’s highlights at your own pace. See the ancient rock-cut churches of the UNESCOWorldHeritageGoremeOpenAirMuseum, hike down the IlharaCanyon or head underground to the eerie subterranean city of Derinkuyu.
