Description

Rajasthan is the country’s largest state and contains a multi-faceted culture and breathtaking array of sights. From Delhi you’ll head out to the great cities of Agra and Jaipur as well as exploring rural Rajasthan where you will meet the people that make this region so special. Enjoy a mix of transport, from the legendary Indian Railway to camel rides, 4WD vehicles and local buses. There’s time to discover natural India, visiting RanthambhoreNational Park and staying at a scenic lakeside campsite. Visit beautiful and lesser known towns to get a real insight into the Rajasthani lifestyle and stay at some wonderful heritage properties including Castle Bijaipur, where you’ll be hosted by the aristocratic family that owns it.

For departures which are in Pushkar during the annual Camel Fair (approximately 12 November to 21 November 2010), the itinerary and accommodation may be altered slightly. The Pushkar Camel Fair is undoubtedly one of the most vibrant festivals one can attend in India and we will do our utmost to bring the fair to you in all its glory! However the dates of the Camel fair can often vary within a day or two of the dates provided by the organisers.
