Description
Travel the length of Vietnam, from north to south, on this classic adventure tour. Start in the vibrant capital Hanoi, with its maze-like Old Quarter, before heading across to Bai Chay Harbour. Here you’ll board your traditional junk boat to sail the waters of Halong Bay, where countless limestone karst islands rise from the warm waters. Swim, kayak and spend a night under the stars. You’ll then start heading south, taking the sleeper train on a stretch of the Reunification Express to Hue. As well as its many historic sights, the countryside around the former imperial capital is one of the tour’s highlights. Next it’s onwards to the fascinating old port town of Hoi An for three nights to soak up its many sights and sounds, and maybe even visit the tailor to get a bespoke garment made at incredible prices. Dine at riverside restaurants and shop for local crafts, then take an internal flight to brash, exciting Ho Chi Minh City where you’ll end your Vietnamese journey of discovery.
