Description

Mountain biking in the Costa de la Luz, southern Spain’s unspoilt ‘Coast of Light’. Far from the package holiday masses, you’ll be biking on a fantastic network of trails into the wild AlcornocalesForestNational Park, Las Brenas Natural Park and beyond. Follow twisting singletrack through cork oak woods, and enjoy sweeping descents and challenging technical sections as you approach the sandy beaches of the coast. This is a traditional and sparsely populated region, with bags of culture and fantastic local food. Ride through characteristic whitewashed villages, discover the area’s Moorish influence and get a glimpse of even older civilizations at the impressive Roman ruins of Baelo Claudio. Staying in coastal accommodation each night you’ll follow a circular route, starting and ending by the lively town of Tarifa on the Gulf of Gibraltar, where the views stretch across to the mountains of North Africa.
