Description
A leisurely paced cycling holiday, biking through stunning Cambodian countryside and coastal scenery, passing friendly old fishing villages and arriving at fascinating colonial cities. From Phnom Penh ride to the coast and follow quiet back roads through a landscape of rice fields and dramatic limestone outcrops. Spend a day relaxing on the beaches of Rabbit Island, visit the old French town of Kampot, and see how the locals live and discover Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage as you ride your way back towards Phnom Penh for a second night in the capital. As a finale, you’ll transfer to Siem Reap, gateway to the magnificent temples of Angkor. Explore the ruins by bike, including Angkor Wat itself, along with other impressive sites like Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, the Terrace of Elephants and atmospheric Ta Prohm temple, where roots and jungle merge with the ancient ruins.
