There’s something for everyone in this family tour of Egypt - haggle for bargains, visit spooky tombs and temples, ride camels into the desert, sail along the Nile and laze on the beach. Before setting out from Cairo you’ll stop at the Pyramids where your tour leader, who’s also a qualified Egyptologist, will explain the history of this fascinating wonder of the world. Then head south to Aswan on the sleeper train where you’ll board a Nile felucca and take a camel ride into the desert. Next you’ll drive north for a three night stay in Luxor, gateway to the Valley of the Kings. Then it’s some down time in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada, or if you’ve still got some energy, there’s plenty of watersports to try. Flying back to Cairo you’ll also visit the unmissable Egyptian Museum and the famous Khan al Khalili bazaar.
