Travel deep into the heart of British Columbia to stay at Elkin Creek Guest Ranch for some good old-fashioned western hospitality and superb horse riding. This welcoming ranch is in the remote Nemaiah Valley in the Chilcotin region and is part of a 36,000-acre cattle operation. Stay in private en suite log cabins with decks and head out on expertly guided horse rides. There are plenty of other activities on offer too. Try watersports like lake or river kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing, or explore the countryside on guided hikes or by mountain bike. The local fly-fishing is also excellent. Enjoy delicious home cooked meals and nights swapping tales of the day’s adventures round the campfire, or spend your evening relaxing at the western lounge and bar. The Chilcotin region is famous for its wild horses, and you’ll get to see these magnificent creatures on guided tours from the ranch. Keep the cowboy spirit alive with this wild western adventure.

Important Information

Longer durations are available from £180 pp per extra night. 

The transfer from Williams Lake to the ranch is 2½ hours so a taxi is a little impractical. If you are hiring a car you can drive from Vancouver (9 hours). If not, then we suggest you fly from Vancouver to Williams Lake and prebook a roundtrip transfer (£60pp). Prices are currently £149 pp each way for flights. Please call or visit the website to book.
