Description
From Istanbul, make your way south for our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula, site of one of the most fateful campaigns of the First World War. A visit to the battlefields, ANZAC Cove, Commonwealth Cemetery and other significant sites is both moving and enlightening. Stay overnight in a local guesthouse in the fishing village of Eceabat, with the opportunity of taking the ferry across to the lively town of Canakkale for a more varied selection of bars and restaurants. The next morning there’s an option to visit the ruins of ancient Troy before returning to Istanbul.

The tour starts at 6.30am on day 1. A night pre tour accommodation in Istanbul is recommended due to the early start.
