Description

What better way to discover the Greek islands than by yacht? Hop from island to island on your expertly skippered 50-foot sailing yacht, starting close to the Turkish mainland in Kos and sailing west through the Aegean Sea to Santorini. From Kos you’re likely to stop at the Dodecanese islands of Kalimnos, Kinaros, Levitha, Patmos, Leros and Amorgos, although the final itinerary will vary with the local weather conditions. Wherever the winds take you, you’ll be visiting some of Greece’s most special islands, mooring up at pretty taverna-lined harbours and spending time on land to seek out secluded beaches, hike to traditional villages and explore ancient archaeological sites. Arriving at your final destination Santorini is particularly impressive. This ring-shaped volcanic island is lined with high cliffs, with its main town Fira perched high up overlooking the glittering ocean.
