Description
In two action-packed weeks you’ll see the highlights of Morocco, a country of fascinating old walled cities, high mountains and surf-swept beaches. Starting in Casablanca, we head for the former imperial city of Meknes and the warren-like medina of Fez. Ride by camel into the Sahara to spend a night on the dunes at a desert camp and hike into the High Atlas for a night surrounded by rugged mountain scenery. You’ll also travel along the ‘Route of 1000 Kasbahs’ to see traditional fortified villages, and step back in time in Volubilis, one of North Africa’s best-preserved Roman cities. There’s also two nights by the beach in Essaouira and time to explore magical Marrakech.
