Description
Peru’s Inca Trail is rightly legendary. It’s one of the highlights of South America and a challenging trek that will appeal to all active hikers. To get there you’ll take an internal flight to Cuzco to first acclimatise in this mountain city. Then you’ll set out for six days trekking and camping to reach the fabulous Inca city of Machu Picchu. Cross the 4,625m Ancascocha Pass and journey beside glacial lakes and awesome snow-capped peaks. This is Andean trekking at its very best.
