Description
Discover a true Australian island paradise on this three-day tour, starting from Adelaide, South Australia. KangarooIsland is not only one of Australia’s largest islands, it’s also one of its most beautiful. This pristine landscape is a haven for native species, and as well as its own breed of kangaroo, it harbours koalas, wallabies, platypus, little penguins and more. Even now, huge tracts of the island have never been cleared of native vegetation, and a third of its surface is made up of national parks and conservation areas. Hike through untamed wilderness, stroll past snoozing seals on the beach, and venture to the dunes of Little Sahara and the huge weather-sculpted Remarkable Rocks. Even the journey to KangarooIsland is exciting, as you’ll take a private ferry and look out for dolphins on the way. After a day exploring, island nights mean genuine Aussie tucker, a roaring campfire, wide starry skies and the option to sleep out on a traditional bushman’s ‘swag’ roll-out mattress.
