Description
The traditional Andalucian village of Mairena provides the perfect base from which to explore this eastern part of the Sierra Nevada. From our tastefully appointed 'casa rural' accommodation, we have 5 days of leisurely hiking in the company of a local guide, through olive and almond groves. There are also tougher options, such as the ascent of El Morron (2756m). A free day gives us the option to visit the nearby Moorish gem of the Alhambra. This one is for you - if you like good food, spectacular mountain scenery and not too difficult walking.
