Description

Travel to east Africa for an epic journey, where you’ll find wildlife and spectacular landscape at every stage. You’ll stay at characterful local hotels and guesthouses, luxurious safari lodges and tented camps throughout southern Uganda. See scenic crater lakes, the primates of KibaleForest and cross the equator within the expansive Queen Elizabeth Park. On game drives you’ll search out animals like hippo, buffalo, elephant and maybe even spot rare tree-climbing lions. You’ll also have a chance to take to the waters of birdlife-rich LakeMburu. The undisputed highlight of the trip, however, will be two days in the BwindiImpenetrable Forest, joining expert trackers for a humbling face-to-face encounter with rare mountain gorilla families.

The tour starts at 10am on day 1. A night pre tour in Entebbe is recommended due to the early start if your international flight does not coincide.

Gorilla permits: Gorilla and Chimp fees are not included in the cost of the trip. Current Gorilla and Chimp fees are 650 USD - Payable with you final holiday balance.
