Description

This fun-packed family holiday takes you to Turkey’s beautiful Turquoise Coast. Here you’ll find a stretch of the Mediterranean dotted with charming towns and villages, mysterious ancient ruins to explore plus great food, friendly locals and plenty of activities. You’ll start off in the riverside town of Dalyan, where you’ll set off from for a day of exciting whitewater rafting on the Dalaman River. From here it’s not far inland to Saklikent Gorge, whose rocky walls reach up to 300m. Clamber up river past rock pools and waterfalls then head off to the relaxed coastal resort of Kas. You’ll spend the rest of the holiday based here, and take day trips out for more adventure. Sea kayak over a sunken city, visit the long, sandy beach of Patara and mountain bike through shady cedar forests. You’ll also trek a section of the Lycian Way to arrive at high mountain pastures and take in panoramic coastal views. After all that activity you’ll appreciate the all-day boat trip, taking you to secluded swimming and snorkelling spots and including a sumptuous barbeque on board – sure to keep everyone happy.
