Description

Just a week long and with an experienced Western climbing leader, this trip offers the chance to climb two 4000m peaks, including North Africa's highest, Mount Toubkal. It also shows off Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains to best effect. It is a classic 'Connoisseur's Choice' adventure. From November to April, the snow-covered peaks of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains provide a fantastic range of options for the winter hillwalker. You'll acclimatise above Imlil, before hiking up to the refuge below Toubkal. Fitting crampons as you ascend the snowy higher slopes, you'll benefit from the advise and guidance of the group's expert climbing leader.
