Description
For experienced adventure travellers with young children, a family visit to the Nepal Himalaya is now a realistic option. With our emphasis being, at all times, to provide a safe, rewarding and educational experience for all concerned, we have devised a package which incorporates a short and easy trek through the scenically splendid foothills of the Annapurnas. With lots of opportunity for social interaction en route, we can expect an especially warm welcome from the ever-friendly Nepalese villagers. Throughout our trek and especially from the high point of our trek, on Panchase Hill, there are wonderful views of the snow-capped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks. From Pokhara, we drive to the Trisuli River and enjoy 2 leisurely days of rafting, drifting slowly down to Chitwan Jungle Lodge, where elephant rides and jungle walks will keep everyone entertained. Using excellent hotels throughout and with lots of time for sightseeing and relaxing plus extra optional activities in Kathmandu and in Pokhara, this is one family holiday that should suit everyone.
