Description
Take a short trip north from Kathmandu into the Nepalese countryside for a two-night stay at the ‘Famous Farm’ of Nuwakot. Transported from the capital you’ll arrive in an oasis of tranquility, set on a terraced hillside overlooking a green river valley. The farm’s main manor house and cottages provide a delightful haven, with organic gardens and fields and plenty of quiet corners and nooks to discover. Take a trip into the surrounding area to see the local way of life and visit an imposing citadel built during the Shah dynasty as an important trading post. You’ll also have the chance to hike on the nearby hillsides and set off on an exciting mountain bike ride through the Nuwakot countryside. A truly relaxing short break and a great addition to any trip to Nepal.
