Description

The best of Egypt for young families, heading from Cairo to Aswan then embarking on a Nile cruise before returning to the capital. See the pyramids and Tutankhamun’s treasures in the EgyptianMuseum, then catch the sleeper train southwards. Arriving in riverside Aswan there’ll be time to browse the town’s fabulous bazaars, then you’ll board your comfortable boat to meander along the Nile to Luxor on a three-night cruise. Stop at the impressive Edfu and Kom Ombo temples on the way, and once in Luxor, visit the celebrated Valley of the Kings and awe-inspiring Karnak. There will time to relax by the pool in Luxor or explore some more of its ancient sites independently before catching the flight back to Cairo. Delve once more into the sights and sounds of the capital, maybe haggling for some last minute bargains at the sprawling Khan al-Khalili bazaar or visiting the impressive citadel, as you end your memorable Egyptian experience.
