Description
A 4WD camping safari of the Australian outback, a real adventure taking in some of the country’s most spectacular and out of the way locations. Follow bumpy bush tracks to traditional Aboriginal communities, camp under starry skies, cross remote desert and sip a cold beer or two in a genuine outback pub – the experiences just keep on coming on this ten-day tour. You’ll need to throw yourself into the trip and help with setting up camp, preparing meals and collecting firewood, all adding to the adventure. Setting off from Adelaide you’ll first cross the Flinders Range, take the Oodnadatta Track across dry riverbeds into the Painted Desert, then press north into the Simpson Desert. Look out for wild camels, dingoes and kangaroos, swim in remote waterholes, hike through spellbinding canyons and watch sunset and sunset over Uluru, mystical Ayers Rock.
