Description
This windswept 'Connoisseur's Choice' adventure holiday adopts a day-hiking format to show you the outstanding mountain highlights of Patagonia - Chile's Paine Towers and Argentina's Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Starting in Punta Arenas, the southernmost town in Chile, you'll have the opportunity to explore a remarkable wilderness of vast glaciers and soaring granite spires. First stop is at the Paine Towers, where you'll have five days of hiking within a uniquely rugged landscape. Hotels, lodges and fixed camps with excellent facilities help to make you comfortable. Next you’ll cross the border into Argentina, visit the Perito Moreno Glacier and travel on to the Los Glaciares National Park, home to more of the world's most outrageous mountains, including Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. This is South American adventure at its very best.
