Description
This demanding tour takes you to the southernmost tip of South America, trekking in Patagonia in the Torres del Paine National Park. Starting in Calafete, Argentina, you’ll cross the Chilean border to enter a breathtaking wilderness landscape. This is a land of dramatic peaks, beech forest and rivers, where glaciers and icebergs meet emerald mountain lakes. Trek to remote wilderness campsites, traversing high passes and soaking up views of the remarkable pink granite Paine towers. While the trekking is demanding in places you’ll be accompanied by packhorses and porters, meaning you’ll only need to carry a day pack and letting you enjoy this awe-inspiring region to the full.
