Description
One of the world’s greatest treks, the Inca Trail takes you through the heart of the Andes to the celebrated mountain city of Machu Picchu. To get there, you’ll take an internal flight from Puno after a night in the Peruvian capital to visit Lake Titicaca before moving on to the handsome colonial city of Cuzco - gateway to the mountains. From there you’ll travel to the Sacred Valley to tour the atmospheric ruins before commencing your 4-day camping trek. Although the distances aren’t that long, the terrain is very varied and there are some long days of hiking. The trek is achievable and immensely rewarding for anyone who’s reasonably fit and with a sense of adventure. The trip continues with time in the Amazon Jungle before flying back to Lima.

Important Information
We need your full passport details at the time of booking for the Inca Trail permits. Those passengers not able to or not interested in the Inca Trail can take the train. They will spend two days in Cuzco before travelling to Aguas Calientes by train, where they will overnight and rendezvous with the hikers in the ruins of Machu Picchu. If you decide not to do the hike we need to know prior to your departure in order to obtain the correct train tickets. Please advise us as soon as possible. Every 2 children aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years or older.
