Combine Himalayan trekking with rafting on one of Nepal’s best stretches of whitewater rivers. This adventure tour first takes you from intriguing Kathmandu on a scenic internal flight above the mountains for a night in the bustling market town of Hile. From there you’ll join your team of porters who’ll transport your rafting equipment with you on your trek to the River Tamur. Along the way views across to Everest and other mighty peaks will unfold, and you’ll pass through mountain villages, terraced paddy fields and shady rhododendron forests. After travelling on foot you’ll take to the waters of the Tamur with your expert river guides for first-rate rafting surrounded by more unforgettable views. As you make your way through exciting rapids and more serene stretches you’ll pass remote fishing villages and spot wild monkeys on the riverbanks. Camping on idyllic riverside beaches you’ll enjoy hearty meals and have time to unwind after exhilarating rafting in the wilderness.
