Description
Family fun and adventure in Thailand, the perfect active introduction to this beautiful nation’s nature, people and culture. After exploring Bangkok by ‘tuk tuk’ and long-tail boat you’ll journey southwards by sleeper train, then drive past limestone cliffs and into the rainforest for a stay in a rustic lodge in Khao Sok National Park. Here you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle and will even take an elephant back ride. Next travel by road and ferry for three nights on either the west coast island of Koh Lanta Yai, or Koh Phangan on the east. Both islands boast fantastic sandy beaches, and you’ll also head out on an island speedboat snorkelling trip to discover a multicoloured underwater world of tropical fish and vibrant coral. Return to Bangkok by internal flight to end your tour with some free time in the Thai capital.
