Description
Head from Hanoi into north west Vietnam for a tour of the Sapa region to encounter colourful local hilltribes and breathtaking mountain scenery. You’ll reach this dramatic area by the sleeper train bound for Lao Cai, continuing by road to the former French hillside town of Sapa itself. There will be time to explore the town and you’ll also set off for adventurous treks through the hill country to the villages of the H’mong, Red Zao and Tay people. Follow remote buffalo tracks through a lush landscape and spend a night in a village home stay with a Tay family. Here you’ll encounter local life first hand and enjoy delicious home cooked food. At the end of your time in the Sapa valley you’ll return to bustling Hanoi by the comfortable sleeper train.

Your tour ends at 5am on arrival at the train station. If you would like to have a room available on your arrival you will need to book the room for night before and check out will be around 10am. Any child between 5-18 has to be accompanied by someone over 18. If the child is between 5-12 and not travelling with the parent, we require parental consent.
