Description

Enjoy moderate-paced cycling in southern Spain, pedaling along a mix of dirt tracks and back lanes, with a few tougher uphill sections but no rush to reach your evening destination each day. With expert guiding, all the details are taken care of, and you’ll stop for fantastic picnic lunches and have full vehicle support.  Start riding from the ancient town of Ronda, perched either side of the dramatic El Tajo gorge, and cycle from place to place. Stay in authentically Andalucían accommodation, including historic Moorish village houses, a beachside thatched hotel and a guesthouse built into castle walls. Head into the cork forest of Alcornocales National Parks, see the craggy GrazalemaMountains, and stop to view prehistoric cave paintings and Roman ruins en route. Arrive at the wild Costa de la Luz to end the tour at vibrant Tarifa in the very south of Spain, overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar towards the peaks of North Africa.
