Description
Discover the hidden Pacific on an adventure of a lifetime on a tall ship voyage cruising round exotic islands or across the vast expanse of the ocean. Visit places beyond the reach of conventional travel aboard this magnificently restored vessel, The
Søren Larsen. The thrill and challenge of ocean sailing provides total involvement in the ship, with time to master the rig, become confident aloft or learn some ocean navigation.
An ocean passage from New Zealand to the Cook Islands starts the season. Next a tropical trade wind route across Polynesia and Melanesia. From Raro we sail north and west on a series of voyages to the remote northern Cooks, Robert Louis Stevenson’s Samoa and colourful Fiji. We explore the wild untouched beauty and undisturbed culture of Vanuatu and the classical beauty of New Caledonia. Experience an ocean passage to SydneyHarbour, then home to New Zealand. This is a blue water sailing adventure at its best. There is also a selection of 4 and 5 night cruises to and from Auckland along the New Zealand coast. See the website for more details.
