Description
We start our tour of this unique corner of the world close to Guzelyurt, walking through a surreal landscape of strangely eroded volcanic rock. We visit the underground city of Derinkuyu, the frescoed cave churches at Goreme and hike in the most impressive valleys of Cappadocia. There are hand-woven carpet and pottery handicrafts to check out and we also have the option to take a Turkish bath. With a mix of pleasant walks, atmospheric accommodation and great food, this is a brilliant addition to our programme of easier trekking holidays.
