Description
Entering Laos across the Mekong River from Thailand, we begin our exploration between Luang Nam Tha and Nong Kheaw. Hiking through picturesque forest and farmland, we visit the homes of colourful hilltribes, such as the Hmong and Khmu.We also take a boat trip to the impressive Buddhist temple at Pak Ou Caves and cruise down the Mekong to the attractive town of Luang Prabang. After an internal flight to the strongly French-influenced capital of Vientiane, we have a full city tour. See unspoiled Laos now!
