A truly epic journey taking you from European Russia deep into the heart of Siberia, across the wide expanses of Mongolia and into China. Starting in imperial St Petersburg you’ll travel to Moscow before stepping onto the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway for four days onboard. Crossing no less than five time zones you’ll arrive in historic Irkutsk and then take a trip to the shores of vast Lake Baikal. Continue your journey via the Trans-Mongolian Railway to leave Russia behind, eventually arriving at the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. Here you’ll encounter a totally different way of life and spend the night under canvas in a traditional ‘ger’ camp. The last stage of your journey takes you by train into China to stop in Beijing, with a chance to discover the Forbidden City and stand atop the Great Wall.
