Description
Head for Spain’s first national park, the Picos de Europa, to experience some of the country’s finest and most rugged mountain scenery. This continuous six-day trek takes you across the three main limestone massifs of the Picos, including a hike to the summit of the 2613m Pena Vieja. Traverse the Cares Gorge on its vertiginous cliffside pathway, look out for rare mountain wildlife and stay in remote hillside refuges.
